During Policy to Action, the official launch event of Lebanon Works, our COO Nadine El khoury Kadi Khoury played a key role in advancing strategic discussions by leading a focused breakout session on the future of Lebanon’s olive oil sector. This session aligned with the introduction of Green Gold, a national initiative for Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée for olive oil, developed in collaboration with H.E. Minister of Agriculture Dr. Nizar Hani Ph.D.

Our Chief Operating Officer Nadine El khoury Kadi proudly represented the company in a high-level panel discussion on “Green Economy Clusters in the MENA Region: Unlocking Opportunities & Overcoming Challenges,” where she shared valuable insights on the role of collaboration, clustering, and innovation in building a more sustainable future for the agri-food sector.
In parallel, she also joined a powerful discussion hosted by PepsiCo under the MENA Innovates program, a vibrant gathering of Youth Impact Studio participants, Mega Green Accelerator graduates, and ecosystem leaders, all working together to foster youth-led solutions for Lebanon.
At Quinta, we deeply believe in the power and role of youth in driving company growth and contributing to economic development, with 23% of our team under the age of 30 and a strong commitment to training, internships, and youth empowerment, we are investing in the next generation of changemakers who will lead Lebanon’s agri-food transformation.

Last month, Mr. Nicola Santini, Co-owner & Managing Director of SAIS Sementi SpA https://saissementi.it/en/, and Bashar Al Talli, area manager, visited Quinta Group’s premises in Lebanon. This event marked a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties with our new Italian seeds partner, driven by a shared commitment to introducing innovative vegetable varieties and fostering sustainable growth in agriculture.
The SAIS team visited our Koubba nursery to explore grafting and hydroponic systems, then headed to Akkar to review trials, highlighting the standout eggplant variety, GIOIA.
They met with local growers, discussed challenges, and celebrated GIOIA’s success. This visit deepened our partnership, focused on high-value, locally adapted varieties.
